Hi everybody, I just have a quick story for you.

It's really short and pretty sad, but I felt like overfilled with emotions, so I had to spill some out.

If you read this, I recommend to listen to a melody on youtube. It's from BloodyYuuka and it's called Sad Song (Violin) 23.

I hope you enjoy.

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters.

Despite the heavy snowing, she dressed herself up and went outside. She was wearing a black leather coat that reached the ground and left a trace in the snow.

She was walking slowly. The path she has walked so many times.

There were pictures in her mind.

Pictures of the past, of happiness that she used to felt.

Now there was only emptiness, and shadow.

The snowflakes landed on her hair, freezing it into an amethyst-like mass.

Her eyes were filled with pain as she reached her goal.

The memorial stone.

She kneeled before it and gently traced her slim fingers over Hayate's name.

She stood back, but couldn't force herself to turn away.

The hours passed by.

She was freezing.

The sun set a long time ago.

She smiled bitterly, feeling the death coming near.

The snowflakes danced around her.

She was almost frozen, when she saw a person coming through the snowstorm.

"Hayate…" It was more a whisper than anything. Her lips were too cold to move properly.

"Yuugao…" His voice was filled with sadness. "Why are you here? Go back, go home. It's not your time yet."

He was slowly disappearing, a dark shadow fading.

"Hayate…wait…..for…me…" A ragged whisper dedicated to the silence.

Her legs gave out and she fell backwards.

She didn't know how long she was there.

Lying in the snow, being covered by another layer of it.

She felt someone lift her up.

Then she lost consciousness.

As she slowly opened her eyes, she found herself in a bathtub, her head supported by a towel. The water was cold. And she was dressed. She suddenly remembered. Everything came back. The snow, the cold, the vision of Hayate.

She tried to stand up, and weakly succeeded.

She undressed completely and took a warm shower. There was a neat bundle of clothes on the dresser. She dressed herself and when she found a long-sleeved T-shirt with attached mask, she knew who her savior was.

She thought it even earlier-he was the only one apart from her that visited the memorial stone so often.

As soon as she dressed up, she walked out and found herself in a small bedroom. There was one door that led to a staircase. She walked it down and stepped into the living room.

Kakashi was sitting in a chair and seemed to be asleep.

Yuugao approached the kitchen corner and made two cups of green tea.

She carried them to the coffee table only to find Kakashi awake.

"You okay?" His voice was warm and caring.

She nodded, suddenly not trusting her voice.

They sat in silence, sipping their tea.

Yuugao remembered Hayate once more and her eyes started to water.

Kakashi – without a word – went round the table, sat next to her and hugged her tightly.

She rested on his chest, tears flowing from her eyes and wetting his shirt.

He stroked her hair until she fell asleep, still leaning to his chest.

He placed a kiss on her forehead and hugged her the rest of the day, determined to never let go.

Ever…

So I hope you enjoyed - at least a bit.

Have a wonderful day/night.
