After the events of episode 5 I just felt compelled to write a poem on Chloe and what she truly was to Max. I'm a fan of Chasefield but Chloe is something that shouldn't be overlooked. This takes place after Max chooses to sacrifice Chloe, and when Max chooses to kiss Chloe.
This poem follows the 4 line stanza format that I so love. The only line that doesn't follow this format is the first line after the first stanza.
Hope you enjoy my interpretation of their relationship.
Gone like a gentle breeze,
Gone until life ends,
Ends need beginnings,
Beginnings need ends.
Let me start, before I can't anymore.
You were my best friend till the end.
The world to me.
The fire in me.
The butterfly that guided my way.
You were more than a friend.
We kissed.
We danced.
We even snuck into the pool.
You were hope.
Hope that made everything shine.
Hope that cursed death
Hope that could never be taken away.
You were everything that I was not.
Courageous, Punk, Rebellious, Free
Everything that I dared not to be.
A druggie, a potty mouth, dangerous.
All these things, I can't say to you.
That day on the hill, I will not forget.
We will not forget you.
I'm sorry, and thank you for being here for me.
