Fear had consumed the group, they did not know what to do or think.
Tia hung onto Rocket's arm with a tight grip. She was terrified and Rocket was too. A bead of sweat cascaded down D'jok's back, he felt trapped and he did not know how to shake the feeling.
Thran looked down at his little brother who was asleep on the sofa. He wished that he could be asleep; he wished that he did know this horror.
The others stood frozen. They could not warrant a reaction.
Aarch walked into the room and crossed his arms. He studied the group in silence.
They all hoped that Aarch would know what to do.
Unfortunately when Aarch realised the situation it was clear to the kids that he could not help.
It seemed as if no-one could help.
"Guys? Wats uuuupppppp?"
Mark fell to his knees and wretched.
"Mark? Do your leeggss need a vaaaaacaaattiion?"
"Uncle, do something," Rocket pleaded to Aarch.
Aarch bowed his head.
The Snow Kids felt broken.
Mei poked D'jok "Do something, he's your friend,"
D'jok looked at her. His eyes were bloodshot.
She knew there that he was not man enough for her. He was just a boy. Not like Sinedd. Sinedd would have done something. She could feel it in her bones.
Rocket's hand quivered slightly. He looked round at the rest of the Snow Kids. They weren't going to do anything. He clenched his fist and shrugged Tia off him slightly.
"Micro-Ice,"
"Yeeeesssss? Wat isssssssssss it?" Micro-Ice replied.
His voice was extraordinarily painful and Rocket clenched his teeth.
"What has happened to you?" He asked, wincing in expectation of the voice to follow.
"Wat doooo yoooouuuuu meeeeaaannnn? I'm Micro-Iceee, but caalll meee Mice now foor soomee reeeasoooon ,"
Rocket frowned. The future had arrived and he was not sure he liked it.
