The two of them sat in the Black Box. They had three more days before the Big Showcase. It was the beginning of their junior year, Tori and Andre had teamed up once again.
"We need to get a start on this." Andre said for what felt for the 1000th time.
"I know but my brain is gone. I can't think of anything." Tori responded just as tired
The duo stayed silent before Andre started playing a familar quiet melody. Tori listened it and started saying the song's lyrics. The two started mixing and they had their song for the Big Showcase
"Tori calm down!" Beck yelled over Tori unusually loud breathing.
"Sorry, but the last time I was here, Trina had a huge tongue and I was forced to be here." Tori said nervously
"Yeah, well it's not like there are dozens of people out there, all ready to criticize you, along with talent agents and such." Jade said sweetly
Tori looked more nervous for a second before realizing something.
"Hey! Only parents are allowed!" She said to Jade
"I know, that's why I said it." She said pulling Beck away to practice.
"She irks me." Tori said to herself
"She has a gift." Andre told her from behind
"I'm worried. Andre, what if we mess up? What if everything goes wrong?" Tori expressed her worries
"Tori, remember what I told you that day Jade spilled coffee on you? You're special; I've seen what you can do. Why would you think differently?" Andre said getting closer to Tori.
"I don't know, I guess it's just nerves. I can't go out there." Tori said walking toward the exit
Andre grabbed her arm at the last minute and pulled her back. Tori turned around and stared at him. Andre hesitated before pulling Tori close to him and putting his lips on hers. Tori was shocked for a second before giving in. They pulled away and smiled at each other.
"That calm your nerves?" Andre asked sweetly
"Yeah, yeah it did." Tori responded happily
Sinjin came over and told them there were two more acts before they were up. They prepared once more and soon it was here.
They sang the final notes and the audience cheered. They ran behind the curtain once the applause subsided. Their friends were there to congratulate them. They were all done with their performances and they didn't need them anymore.
They left to go get Inside-Out Burger. They all got their food and celebrated their accomplishments. Cat and Robbie left early to go to Robbie's house and the other four stayed at the restuarant.
"Your duet was really great!" Tori said to Jade and Beck
"Thank you" they said simutaniously
"You guys did good as well." Jade replied
"Oh My Gosh, Jade complementing people? Are you sick?" Andre said with a laugh
"Haha. Don't expect many if you talk that way." Jade said sarcastically.
"Anyway we gotta head out, Jade need to be home. See ya guys." Beck and Jade got up and departed from the table, leaving Tori and Andre.
Tori turned to Andre and stared.
"What's up?" Andre asked confused
"Why'd you kiss me?" Tori said sternly
"It's something I always wanted to do." He replied
"Why tonight though?"
"It felt right."
"Well, I'm glad. Come on, let's go. Gotta get home."
They cleaned up and headed to Tori's house. He left her at the doorstep. They kissed for a second before she left to go inside. She leaned against the door and smiled. Today had gone better than expected. Way better.

Probably my shortest one. I think it's okay but not my best work. I can't write Tandre, i don't know why. I like the ship and all, but my mind can't work it through. oh well :)
