Fallen asleep
We all know the story of the princess who fell asleep after pricking her finger when she turned 16. It's time for that story to be retold. So once upon a time, in a far away kingdom there lived a king and a queen. They ruled a large and mighty kingdom. The only problem they had was that their beloved son died in an ambush in the woods.
When the King and the queen heard the news, it nearly destroyed their love for one another. So one day the queen went to see the man she married, in other words the king.
"How long until you speak to me again?" the queen asked
He turned his head and looked at the sad queen before him.
"I'm sorry that our prince died. He was going to be king and rule..." he said mournfully
"How can you say that, our only child died because he was trying to win your love!" The queen yelled
He lifted his head, he could see tears rolling down her face.
"My darling, something else is wrong." He said with compassion
She simply nodded.
"I spoke with the doctor, he told me that I have been blessed with a child." She said almost smiling
She could see the joy lightened in his dark green eyes. Those eyes filled with happiness, joy, mystery and love, were the reason why she fell madly in love with her husband.
"Are you telling me that we will have a child to inherit the throne, a new child to love?" he asked sweetly
"Yes Stephan." She replied.
He held his beautiful wife in his arms and he kissed the top of her head.
