Calleigh was admiring Eric from afar. Since they'd stared dating, his hands had bcome her secret obsession. She couldn't help it. They were so inviting, soft, and so completely perfect. So uniquely Eric. If she could, she would marry his hands.

She was in the AV lab watching him closely, intently. He was leaning over the glass desk in a room across from her studying evidence from the case that was on their shoulders.

He lifted his hands and placed them along the microscope in front of him. He brought the face to the odd instrument.

She couldn't help but stare. He was incredible. She couldn't believe that she had waited this long to actually give him a chance. She cursed herself for it.

Then, when he got done looking at the evidence he collected, he happened to glance in her direction and caught her staring. He smiled and put his hands in his white lab coat pockets.

She felt a tinge of humiliation that he caught her but she was glad to have his attention that she so intensely craved. She gave him a guilty-but-so-innocent smile back. She wished he would uncover his hands. She just wanted to hold them. Ever since that afternoon when their lips first met, she just wanted to feel his touch, have some skin contact. She was still tingling from where his hands came to rest along her arms and abdomen. She made it look as if she had control that afternoon but if he really wanted to take the reigns he certainly could have quiet easily.

He wasted no more time and went straight back to the task at hand. But Calleigh wouldn't hear of that. She stood up so sharply it made her dizzy. She grasped her head in between two palms, trying to steady herself. She walked into the room where he was and stood right next to him.

His proximity was so intoxicating, almost knocking Calleigh dizzy for the second time in a row that day.

He looked directly at her gleaming green eyes, curios was to why she was there. She looked into his eyes and smiled. She picked up his left hand lying on the clear desk and stroked it gently. She looked down at it and brought it to her lips.

He was surprised by her actions but found it rather peaceful. Then she brought her eyes back up to his.

"Have I ever told you I love your hands?" she gave him her sweetest southern smile.

"Yes," he chuckled, "but I never get tired of hearing it." He gave her a bright smile back.

"Well, I'm in love with your hands." She whispered to him again.

He placed them along her face and softly brought his lips to hers. She pulled one of his hands into hers and cradled it. She intertwined their fingers and smiled against his lips.
