A week after winning the Kanto championship, Ash and Misty were packing for the trip to Johto. "I'm so excited to see all the new Pokémon!" Ash said.
Misty smiled. "I'm just happy to be there with my lovely fiancé." she said.
Ash and Misty stopped by Professor Oak's lab to pick up the Johto Pokédex, and then headed out on the road. "Should we wait for May and the others?" Misty asked.
Ash smiled. "They'll catch up." he said.
Ash and Misty soon reached the border between Kanto and Johto. "There's no turning back once we cross the border." Ash said.
Misty smiled. "Let's go!" she said.
Just a few miles into Johto, Ash and Misty came across the group. "What are you doing here?" Misty asked.
May smiled. "We decided to get a head start." she said.
Suddenly a Spinarak appeared. "I'm gonna catch it!" Ash cried.
Ash threw a Pokeball, which dinged after a few minutes. "I caught my first Johto Pokémon!" he cried excitedly.
Misty smiled and pressed her lips to his. "I'm happy for you." she said after the kiss.
Ash smiled. "I love you sweet Misty." he said.
