There were many reasons Aizen wanted to keep Orihime well-fed.
It was definitely because he wanted to keep her alive. It was also definitely because he needed her powers. Yes, these reasons were all very important.
But there was one other. It was the same reason that he had clothing custom designed for her. And, Aizen thought, the same reason as Ulquiorra.
It would just be such a shame for her to lose those curves.
