"Spencer!" was the last word I heard before falling. I don't remember much from last night but I know it could of costed my life...
Two days berfore...
I got up with a strange knot in my stomach, remembering A.D was gone for once and for all. I couldn't help but smell a coffee scent in my room.
"Mum.." I muttered under my breath. I got out of bed and went down into the kitchen.
"I see your up sweetie." my mum said cheerfully while pouring me a cup of coffee.
"Yeah, my eyes are still asleep." I said sleepily.
"Well you might want to wake those eyes because toby's outsi-"
"Toby?!"
"I thought he called you, why are you so shaken up this morning?" questioned my mum suspisiously.
"Got to dress mum, call you later" I said in a hurry.
"Spenc-"
"Bye!"
I got dressed in some smart but casual clothes and met toby outside. Toby was looking at the barn.
"I knew coffee would get you out of bed." said Toby with a warm smile.
"I guess so, so how are you anyway?" I said with a laugh. He always made me laugh, I guess that was why I was attracted to him. But did he love me?
Eversince my twin sister, Alex, stole my life, quite literally, Toby and I don't talk about ourselves as a couple.
"I'm fine, just got a business man who is interested in investing in my carpeting business." said Toby calmly.
"Oh my gosh! That's great!" I exclaimed with my hair suddenly swinging into face.
We both laughed before staring in each others eyes. I didn't want the moment to end. I looked down blushing.
" So umm..."
"Yeah, I just came to see if you were okay from be held captive, so are you okay?" he said softly.
"I'm alive aren't I?" I muttered.
He looked as if he was going to say something else but paused.
"I guess I'll see you around." I whispered walking away.
Toby grabbed my arm and pulled me close to his chest and our breathing pattern was in sycn. He looking into my eyes and hugged me.
"Toby, can I ask you a question?" I asked pulling away sheepishly.
"Go ahead." Toby replied.
"When you kissed my sister did you enjoy it?" I queried.
He looked away, then looked down.
"Spence..." He sighed.
"Answer me Toby! Look me in the eye and tell me!" I pleaded.
"I can't do this right now." Toby whispered walking away.
