Adrien was just looking at the Ladyblog when Gabriel almost knocked his door down. "Dad, are you okay?" Gabriel looked at him. "You, you are my son."
"Dad what's wrong."
"Nathalie has pointed out that I haven't spent too much time with you."
Adrien raised an eyebrow. "Really. She has hasn't she." Gabriel nodded. "Yes, so do you want to spend some time with me?" Adrien honestly did not want to spend any significant time with his dad because everytime he did, it was awkward and depressing. He'd rather lock his bedroom door, sit on his couch, and play video games while he ate Doritos. (Doritos which he had smuggled from the convenience store.) "Uh, uhm... Y'know, uh... I um I mean... Ugh." Adrien sighed, he did not want to say it. "Yeah, sure why not." Gabriel's eyes widened. He then stood up straight and fixed his tie. "Okay come downstairs at 3:00 pm." Gabriel said reverting back to his old, boring self.
Plagg looked up at Adrien, "how the hell does anyone get into a situation like that?" Adrien sighed, "they just do."
It was 3:00. The death hour for Adrien. Adrien walked down the long, bromidic staircase. "Hello, son." Adrien was surprised to see his father with a wide smile but still looks and sounds like a boring person. "Uh, hi." Gabriel grabbed sunscreen out of a bag and put a dollop of it on his hand. Gabriel walked up to Adrien and put sunscreen all over his face. "You have to always wear sunscreen outside. You know how rude UV rays can be. You could get skin cancer and then no one will want to date you." When Gabriel took his hands off Adrien's face and whispered in Adrien's ear. "Like Ladybug." Adrien looked at his father. How did he know his secret crush, the spotted heroine, LADYBUG?! Adrien wasn't embarrassed, he was shocked. Like, woah. "Okay son, where should we go?" Gabriel asked. "I think we should go get ice cream. What do you think?" Adrien nodded.
Today is going to be one of the most awkward days of my life.
And it was.
