Welcome to my first drabble on this page. I have read some on this page and somehow on another fan page I joined some years ago the term drabble was used for a different kind of short stories. So while it still has a certain ammount of words (two hundred in this case), the plot is built differently. I hope you will understand and enjoy it nonetheless.

As usual, the characters are not mine. They all belong to the CW.

And for this one, the idea is not mine either. It's from the lovely Sasi, thanks for letting me realise it ;)

Dean couldn't keep his curiosity under control. He crouched beneath the windowsill and listened intently on the conversation. They had been discussing since Dean had proposed to go off on a hunt without the angel. Sam and Castiel had continued their dispute after he had left because he hadn't been able to bear Cas' disappointed and hurt look.

"Come on, Cas. It's not that it's going to be for a long time"

Sam was still trying to convince the angel, and although his voice was levelled, Dean could make out the impatience in it.

"Yes, Sam, for me the time will feel prolonged if you proceed in what you are planning to do." Castiel's voice was tense too, Dean noticed. It was cute that the angel couldn't stay away from him, just as he couldn't be without his Cas.

Sam's exasperated sigh made Dean chuckle.

"Really? That bad? You gonna go in withdrawal or what?"

Dean wasn't sure if he wanted to laugh or punch Sam for the comment. They weren't that bad in the end, weren't they?

"No Sam, but nonetheless the item does not need to be cleaned. You have no reason to take my trench coat!"

So, thats it. And yes, the missunderstanding was intended, that's what I learned a drabble to be. Hope you liked it and please take a minute to review. We would really love to hear what you thought of it.

We are planning on posting more of these (if anyone is interested), but it won't be regularly. It all depends on our time and muse.
