The Crow Goddess
Hark', the raven, my
pet, calls,
Cawing and screaming it beckons me on,
And into the
darkness that heralds us all,
Deeper into the abyss, I hurry
forth,
Into the darkness that heralds us all.
I spread my wings into
the shadows of flight,
The flock of death, I have led,
I am a
predator of the cold, empty night,
Waiting for my time to come
again,
My time of the cold, empty, night.
Death, Fury, and
Slaughter is my name,
For I was once the Three that are One,
We
were once a trinity, but only I remain,
They have departed this
physical world of man,
And only I remain.
My eyes are the
blackest coal,
Reflecting the empyrean night,
With them I see
deep into your soul,
Into your heart and through the shards of
time,
And deep within your soul.
The abyss known as Hell
is my home,
And those called the Dead, my comrades,
Yet I walk
these skeletal streets alone,
My pale, spectral figure remains
hollow,
For eternity I will walk alone.
My claim is endless,
for I am Death,
But my immortality is wearing thin,
Any one
that I give could be my last breath,
The privilege of Life is not
infinite,
Soon I will give off my last breath.
Now my life only
consists of vengeful spite,
Bringing forth my masters is my sole
aim,
My world has been drained of light,
The Dark Elders will
destroy the humani,
And in this world there will be no light.
My life is covered in
sin,
My history painted in blood,
They have left me, those I
call my kin,
For I am Death: the Crow Goddess,
I am the
Morrigan.
