Since this is a shortly, I don't wanna talk that much here. I do wanna thank everyone's support of Papa Hokage. So far, it's my favorite fanfic I've posted yet. I will make another long one soonish, but for now I have a couple of shorties coming up.
Anyway, this story was written while I was writing Papa Hokage. I had writer's block and I needed to get through it. Plus, I wasn't feeling Kushina so much. I couldn't get her right. Anyway, this story was written while I was writing Papa Hokage. I had writer's block and I needed to get through it. Plus, I wasn't feeling Kushina so much. I couldn't get her right. So, I wrote a story in her voice. This is the result:
I'm going to be a mother, y'know!
Kushina was so proud of Minato. He worked hard and became the Hokage. She was so proud of him. He had succeeded in their shared dream. She knew he would make a fine Hokage.
But would he make a fine father?
These words echoed around her head as she walked home from the hospital. She still couldn't believe that she was pregnant. True, it was something they both wanted, but she never thought it would come so soon.
Soon, our child will here.
Kushina picked up her pace. She wanted to tell Minato right away. He was going to be so happy!
I am really going to be a mother.
It was hard to believe, but it was true. The doctor hadn't gotten it wrong. They were going to be parents!
I can't wait to see you, my little one.
Kushina paused at their front door. Minato was inside, she could feel it. The father of her child was inside right now and he didn't even know!
Kushina's excitement rose. She couldn't contain herself anymore. She had to tell him. They had to get ready! They will be parents soon. Kushina threw open the door and shouted:
"I'm going to be a mother, y'know!"
The look on his face was priceless.
