Ginny walked briskly through the alley. Nodding at friends she saw, but not uttering a word. She was late, but she didn't mean to. As she turned at the corner, she saw her acquaintance.

"Hey." She said.

"Your late." Was all he said.

"Sorry. I had stuff to take care of." She looked down.

"Stuff so important that I had to wait?" He looked sad. He knew that she didn't mean to be late, but she was.

She looked up at him. "Draco, Ron and Hermione were fighting, as usual. So Mum told Harry and I to stop them before they destroy the house."

Draco laughed. "They never grew up…"

Ginny smiled. "Yeah. Well, you know them." After a long pause, "So am I forgiven?"

Draco whispered, "Of course." He smiled, took her hand and said, "Shall we go?"

[Draco's POV]

We were at Ginny's number 1 favorite place: the ice cream parlor.

She didn't like me bringing her to expensive restaurants and thought that her parents would be suspicious about her wearing expensive clothing. If Ginny's parents found out she was dating the son of their archenemy, they would forbid her from going out again. So we decided to go to Ginny's favorite places. Anyways, I didn't mind going to Ginny's favorite places. In fact, I loved them. We always had fun.

As we ate our ice cream sitting far from anyone, we talk. "When are you going to tell your parents about us?" I said in a low voice.

After a while, she finally spoke. "I don't know… I want to tell them as much as you do, but I'm scared." She sighed. "I don't want to break up with you." She whispers. She closes her eye and a tear comes out.

"Aw, Ginny don't cry. I promise that will never happen." She opens her eyes and smiles.

"Pinky promise?" I smile.

"Pinky promise."

We finished our ice cream and go out the parlor. "Where to next Ginny?" I say.

"Lets go to the park." She says, and smiles.

When we got to the park, Ginny stops walking. "What's wrong Ginny?" I stop and look at the direction Ginny is looking at.

"Ron, Harry, and Hermione found us." They started walking towards us when Ginny was about to run.

"Don't run Ginny. Its ok if they find out. I'll just persuade them not to tell your parents about us." She looks at me.

"What if they tell your parents?"

I sigh, but smile. "I can handle them. My mom will accept you, but it'll take time to convince my dad." They were near us now and Ginny was shaking. I whisper in her ear, "They will never break us apart."

"Is this true Ginny! Your going out with that creep!" Ron growls.

Ginny clears her throat. "Yes, that creep is my boyfriend. Do you have a problem, Ronnie?" She takes my hand.

Ron scowls. "Yes. Your boyfriend is our enemy. His friends found us and nearly killed Hermione!" I look at Hermione. She was blushing so hard.

"That was 2 years ago. I've changed."

Hermione stopped blushing and grimaces. "How do we know that you've changed? You could just be using Ginny just to get information about us and tell your Death Eater friends." I sigh. Why do they have to make this so hard?

"Voldemort is dead and the Death Eaters have disbanded. I've changed. When I met Ginny again, I knew for sure that she was the one." I looked at Ginny and smiled. "I would never hurt her."

"How long have you two been dating?" Hermione asks me.

"Almost a year now." Hermione puts her hand on my shoulder. "You have our permission." Ron and Harry were taken aback.

"We are!" They said together. Hermione looks at them.

"Yes. Draco obviously hasn't hurt Ginny. Yet. So at least let them be." Ron scowls for the second time.

"Fine. But if you ever hurt her, we- "

"I wont. Like I said. I would never, ever hurt her." I smiled.

Well, this went well. Sort of.
