A cry for Help
I bounded up the pathway and shut the door behind me. Charlie was waiting for me in the kitchen, wanting to know how the slumber party had been. My bags were still at the foot of the stairs, untouched. I ventured upstairs to dump them in my room. As I looked through the door, I could see my pillow and several pieces of clothing missing. A sudden force slammed the door shut behind me and a figure creeped out of the shadows. Within his grasp were my pillow and clothes.
His hands enclosed around my neck, his fingers becoming tighter and tighter. He bundled me into a sack, and darkness and heat smothered me, causing me to lose consciousness. When I awoke, I was tied up in ropes, my back against the wall. Riley and Victoria were stood in the corner of the room, communicating with one another, in a tone close to silence.
A light flickered suddenly from nowhere, revealing the bright red eyes and bloody teeth of eighteen ravenous vampires. Riley began to walk towards me, a limp in his jagged step. As the light flickered across my face, his expression changed. The look of pain and suffering was obvious in his blood red eyes. He bent towards me, whispering in my ear, "When I say, Run!" He pulled a dagger from his shirt and cut the ropes, just enough for Victoria not to see anything. He sank his teeth into Victoria's neck, and so I ran, not thinking or knowing, just wanting to get away, away from the thought of death!
A piercing scream rang out behind me, and I scrutinised the sound to see whose voice it belonged to. Tears poured silently down my cheeks and I could feel the warm breath upon my shoulder knowing Riley lay dead in a room full of newborn vampires. I spun around to face my stalker, but instead found Riley, a look of lust upon his face. He swept me off my feet, into a kiss that crushed my lips.
"Don't mind me!" came a voice from behind us. Victoria stood still for several minutes, before she bounded forward, sinking her teeth into my neck. Pain erupted through my body, as her venom spread and she drained the blood from my veins. I tried my best to cling onto life, but the air was so cold and all I wished for was to be able to join my loved ones in the sky!
