Alfred busted in smiling only to be greeted with an empty living room. Frowning slightly, he heard you singing upstairs and followed the voice. You were getting ready for something fancy as far as he could tell. "Hey Alfie," You smiled while fixing your hair.

"Hey, where ya goin'?" The American smiled back watching you with interest.

"Goin' to bible study. You should come! PLEASE!" You begged him, giving him puppy dog eyes.

"Um, sure okay," He slowly says, since him or his people weren't very religious lately. After you finished getting ready you practically dragged the blond boy out to your car. You held your bible in one hand, clutching it to your chest, and dragged Alfred with the other once at the church. Your church wasn't like any others. It was much more fun and caring in your opinion. Once in the bible study area you searched for your friend Courtney. Still dragging Alfred around you rushed to her, immediately catching up. Soon enough though the study started. For the most part Alfred was just sitting there indifferent but you were able to get him to sing the songs. As everyone stood there and the study was coming to a close, tears started filling your eyes. Courtney, noticing your distress wraps you in a hug to let your tears fall.

*Alfred's POV*

I stared at (Name) watching her friend hold her while she cried. I have always wanted to do that for her. I always wanted to let her cry in front of me because she was always so strong. The taller girl smiled at me and moved to let me hold her as if she could hear my thoughts. I held the crying girl in shock, as the study drew closer to an end I began to whisper sweet words in her ear, anything to calm her down. She calmed down soon after the leader finished speaking. We didn't speak until in the car again.

"I'm sorry," She blurted out as we got into her car.

"Why?" I asked a confused look on my face. She groaned and rested her head on the stearin wheel.

"You know I hate when I cry!"

"But, that doesn't mean you shouldn't, I mean if you're in front of people who care, you shouldn't care if they see you cry!" I was getting irritated at this now. "You don't have to be strong all the time!"

"But someone has too!" She screams out, tears falling down her face. "No one else can so I have to." My eyes go wide; she thinks she has to be strong. I pulled her into a hug.

"You don't have to though, I will be strong for you," I whispered in her ear. The girl shook her head violently.

"I love you," I whispered quietly. More tears fell.

"I love you too," I finally heard her say after a few moments of sitting there in an embrace.

A/N: This actually happened to me so I had inspiration to write this story. Hope you all liked it!
