Hello, I have wanted to do this AU for a while. Now I've finally got the balls to do it. Incase you didn't know, this fic is based off of Kamelot's two part concept albums Epica, and The Black Halo, Which are based off of Goethe's Faust. This fic will NOT be split in two like the albums, but be a long one part fic. A list of characters and their roles will be listed below.
Castiel: A curious, yet arrogant angel, who wishes to find the meaning of life, and the universe. He becomes so obsessed with finding the truth, that he leaves behind his home, and his best friend Dean. Equivalent of Ariel in the Epica/The Black Halo.
Dean: A human who is best friends with Cas, He supports Castiel's quest, despite his heartbreak. He helps make Cas feel human, and loves him unconditionally. Equivalent of Helena in Epica/The Black Halo.
Crowley: A demon who specializes in deals and bargains. He comes to Cas with the offer to help him in his quest, but in return his grace and human soul. Equivalent of Mephisto in Epica/The Black Halo.
Meg: A demon girl who Cas has a one nightstand with. She is left by Cas who regrets the events, and pushes her away. Equivalent of Marguerite in The Black Halo.
*Note the fic will start at Center of the Universe instead of the Prolouge like in the album.*
