He's nothing but a liar
who trusts no one, but himself.
He doesn't trust his friends.
He doesn't even trust his family.
Can't he even trust me?
Why doesn't he trust me?
I just wish I knew why he doesn't trust anyone.
He doesn't trust his friends.

'Cause I trust him with all my heart,
But I see now that he can't trust anyone.
No one at all.
He thinks people can't handle the truth.
So he lies just to protect them.
But he doesn't have to do this.
He can just tell us and we'll understand.
But he doesn't.
This breaks my heart.
I just wish I knew why he doesn't trust anyone.
He doesn't trust his friends.

He may be a liar, but he's a very considerate person.
He's full of care and has a smile that says "Trust me."
But I wish he can trust other people.
