War of the Forgotten Continent
Chapter I: Intel
Three years after the rescue of Gaia, Zidane and Garnet married in the cathedral of Alexandria. Together, king and queen, they had planned to keep peace across the world, by using the new Alexandrian airship, Alexander. It was named after a lost eidelon, when Garnet's magicks suddenly failed her.
Vivi had died, as well as the rest of the black mages, and the village was completely inhabited by Genomes. The Genome people did nothing but sit, and stand, until Vivi had died. They had cared for the black mages, surprisingly, and eventually felt emotions. The Genomes constructed in the Black Mage Village, cleared the forest, and started a new country: Laisun.
The dwarves of Conde Petie expanded their territory and built a village where the lifa Tree had collapsed. They named it Zendo Petie. Monsters had ceased to exist, for the mist was completely gone. The only beast that remains is the one which was kept in Treno.
Over in Alexandria Castle, Zidane and Garnet recieved a letter from Regent Cid of Linblum: "Majesties of Alexandria, we have a major problem. The people of Burmecia have set out to the Forgotten Continent to settle there."
"How is that such a bad thing?" asked Garnet.
"Let me think," said Zidane. "Why would they set out to a completely empty continent? It's filled with alot of magicks, and completely EMPTY!"
"And..?" said Garnet.
Zidane sighed, and continued, "They're obviously trying to prepare a stronger military and then take over one of our countries! Don't you see what's happening here? We have to apprehend them!"
"We'll talk with Regent Cid..." said Garnet.
The couple headed into the port and boarded the Alexander. In a quick trip through the rebuilt South Gate, they managed to make it to Linblum Castle. They were guided to the conference room, where Regent Cid and his wife, Hilda, were ready to speak with them.
"Your majesites," said Lady Hilda. "You do understand the urgency of this matter, do you not?"
"Of course we do!" exclaimed Zidane. "They're preparing their militaries for war! We're gonna have to kick the crap out of them!"
"We cannot start war so soon..." said Regent Cid. "We don't even know if that is their plan. But still, we must apprehend them. We will have to sabotage every advantage they would have. I have intel that they're using their boats to take a route around the continent and straight to the shore of the Forgotten Continent."
"Got it!" exclaimed Zidane, not even letting Garnet get a word in.
