The Mall Has It All
As one the undead shambled,
All lurching to the stores.
Hungering for human flesh,
Driven by want of more.
…
How different from the living then,
Those who once roamed these halls?
Those driven by sense of desire,
Before their world did fall?
…
Amenities, accessories,
For new items stood in line.
Dirven by need to consume,
Would have done so for all time.
…
So here the undead shamble,
"What has changed?" You ask.
For here is the world's present,
In mimicry of past.
…
The mall, it now is open,
The undead walk in line.
The mall will remain open,
From now till end of time.
