The Thorns and the Flame
Behold, the Lady of Thorns comes,
Upon this sunny day.
In Dragon Shire's garden fair,
Along cobblestoned way.
…
But something's different in this lady,
For fire's in her eyes.
As she beholds the knights and nobles,
People by her despised.
…
The heroes, they have done their work,
They have served the lady fair.
So now they shall know fire's touch,
Shall feel world's despair.
…
With a roar, the dragon comes,
And all heads turn around.
As the dragon knight lets out its rage,
Entire forts are burnt to ground.
…
Some try to flee, some try to fight,
But all fall to the flame.
For now at last this verdant realm,
Is the dragon's once again.
…
And the lady smiles in the flame,
At those who drew her ire.
This molten realm shall be reborn,
From the world called Dragon Shire.
