THIS IS MY FIRST FANFICTION POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. HECK, THIS IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT WRITING A PUBLIC STORY FOR OTHERS TO READ. I'VE ALWAYS LIKED WRITING BUT HAVE BEEN TOO INSECURE ABOUT WANT OTHERS THINK, THEN I REMEMBERED NO ONE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE ON THE INTERNET :P . ANYWAYS IF ANYONE ACTUALLY READS MY STUFF THEN LEAVE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AND FEEDBACK ON WHAT YOU THINK OF THE STORY AND WHAT I COULD DO DIFFERENTLY ANYWAYS LETS GET ON WITH THE STORY.
"No. Not again, never again I can't deal with this anymore why does everyone I love hate me. This isn't fair give them back. Please I'll do anything plleeaasse." Sobs could be heard from the small pup, he was distraught, sad, angry and worst of all... alone. The sounds of thunder and lightning clashed with the sounds of the weeping dalmatian. He carried himself to the edge of a cliff, contemplating life. He stood at the edge the city wondering where it all went wrong.
Lookout: Adventure Bay 3 years later
"Come on Skye you've got to do bettew then that if you want to beat me", said teased the chocolate lab, whIle mirroring the moves as he gazed upon the screen.
"Is that a challenge Zuma. You know I hold the world's 8th hightest recorded in pup-pup boogie" Skye replied narcissisticly tring to get under Zuma's fur. Her paws were becoming numb for they've been playing for around eight minutes now, but she could see the tire in his eyes, but also in his eyes she saw determination.
"I think this is the longest those two have gone one for." mocked Chase laying next to Marshall taking a nap. "If one of you don't give in you'll be here all night" he added gazing upon two tired pups.
Zuma has never won against Skye but he thought to himself that today was his day. Zuma was the only one who could keep up with Skye's fancy footwork. The two were neck and neck but Skye knew she had to end this. She saw that in the next two moves came the spinning move which Zuma still had trouble with. Being too focused and exited on the next few moves she neglected the current one and lost the match.
"YYEEEESSSS. I'VE FINALLY BEAT HEW!" Zuma screamed estatically. He then dropped on the floor with Skye due to exhaustion. "It... was...wowth it." He panted looking at Skye. He stood up "Gweat game. You okay dude" he said giving Skye a paw.
"Yeah, that was the best game I've had. Thanks Zuma" she stood up with the help of Zuma "We should play again some day, but definitely not soon" she and Zuma let out a chuckle as she carried herself to the couch next to chase.
In the meanwhile Marshall woke up and fell twords the ground earning a giggle from everyone in the room including himself. He stretched and yawned simultaneously as he walked twords the elevator walking past Ryder and Rocky fixing a computer at a desk. He made his way up to the top floor of the lookout and then the balcony. The balcony on the top floor of the look out had always been Marshall's favorite when he wanted to escape and look upon everyone in Adventure Bay. The spot was perfect the sun had always shone down in a particular spot everyday making it prefect for relaxing and taking naps. Marshall breathed in the midday air then exhailed. He saw Rubble, Chase, Zuma, and Skye out on the field playing tag and decided to join them.
"Hey mind if I join in" Marshall asked enthusiastically whilst looking at the three pups.
"Nope, not at all" invited Chase, "in fact, 1.2.3 not it" Chase shouted running in the opposite direction with a cunning smile that plastered his face.
"NOT IT!" Syke, Rubble, and Zuma shouted in unison running off in different directions.
"Game on!" Marshall said shaking his rear end in the air as if ready to pounce. Marshall took off after Zuma who ran twords the tree and tire swing. Marshall, being the fastest of the pups, darted twords Zuma hiding in some bushes behind the tree, but just as he was about to make his move...
BEEP BEEP BEEP
"RYDER NEEDS US" said all the pups outside who's voices could be heard from all across the feild. They all sprinted twords the entrance of the lookout except one clumsy dalmatian who got tripped up by a root. Zuma came and helped him up checking if he was okay. The two then raced back to the lookout stepping inside of the elevator heading up.
MEANWHILE IN THE LOOKOUT
"Hey Ryder the program you've made just finished installing should I boot it up" Rocky asked curiously. He always had a knack for inventing and tinkering and Ryder has just made some thing to help out with the team.
"Sure Rocky", Ryder responded confidently. He knew the program worked, it had to. He's been perfecting it for months. What Ryder made were locator chips to be installed into everyone's pup tags in the case of an emergency. Rocky had volunteered to help by offering his tag and help Ryder with some of the technical stuff. Ryder walked over to the computer not noticing Marshall being him taking the elevator up.
Rocky opened the program and the map of Adventure Bay and the surrounding areas(for example, neighboring cities, the forest, Jake's Mountain ect) was the sent to his pup pad where he was able to zoom in and out on the map. Everything was working great , now for the moment of truth all he had to do was push Rocky's button with the program opened and should send a visual on his location.
"Well it's now or never" Ryder said enthusiastically. To his surprise a green dot showed on the map the dot was poised directly on top of the look out tower. However each tracker worked every button, for each member, send out a diffrent frequency to a specific chip and when received the locator would show their position on the map. Ryder was the true definition of boy genius.
"Yay it worked" Rocky said relived, " That took what, 2 and a half months to finish"
"Yep, now all we have to do is install it to everyone's pup tag. Oh and Rocky, thanks you really didn't have to do this for me" Ryder responded while giving rock a pat on the head. Their celebrating was soon cut short when Ryder received a call from his pup pad. It was from Mayor. Goodway.
"RYDER HELP!" Goodway panicked," I know you don't normally do these types of rescues but a group of men are in the city bank with guns and explosives!" She yelled as she almost fainted.
Ryder put on a brave face," Mayor are there any civillians in the bank and have any been injured." She responded with a nod, before she could speak Ryder said his catchphrase, "Don't worry Mayor no job is to big and no pup is to small." Ryder cut communications with Goodway and ordered rocky to get in his pup pack and vest. Not a moment later the rest of his team assembled on the top floor of the look out ready to receive orders.
"PAW Patroll ready for action Ryder sir" Chase barked as he looked at his distressed leader.
THIS CONCLUDES THE FIRST CHAPTER OF MARSHALL'S LAMENT. I WILL TRY TO GET THE NEXT CHAPTER OUT SOMETIME NEXT WEEK AND MORE CHAPTER THE FOLLOWING WEEK SEEING AS I HAVE MORE FREE TIME. NOW AS I SAID IF ANYONE READ THIS LEAVE SUGGESTIONS AND FEEDBACK AS TO WHAT I COULD CHANGE OR IF I'M DOING GOOD OR NOT.
NOW LET ME AWNSER A FEW POSSIBLE QUESTIONS: THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE PAIRING IN THIS STORY I'M STILL UNSURE. THE REASON BEING THE STORY IS FOCUSING MORE ON MARSHALL'S PAST LIFE AND I DON'T WANO TO GET IN THE WAY OF THE MAIN FOCUS POINT. THE SECONOMY QUESTION I COULD THINK OF IS "WHY AM I BEING SO NEGATIVE ABOUT WETHER OR NOT THIS STORY WILL DO GOOD?" TO AWNSER THAT QUESTION YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND MY LOGIC. IF I GET HIGH HOPES AND EXPECTATIONS FOR SOMETHING I WORKED HARD ON THEN IT DOSENT GO WELLL OR TURN OUT GOOD I GET VERY DEFEATED, THEREFORE IF I SET LOW EXPECTATIONS FOR MYSELF THEN I CAN'T BE DISAPOINTED I WAS IN THE MINDSET THAT I WAS GOING TO FAIL AND IF IT DOES GREAT THEN I'LL BE EVEN MORE CONTENT. THAT DOSENT MEAN THAT I DON'T TRY I JUST LOOK ON THE GLASS HALF-EMPTY SIDE OF THINGS WHEN IT COMES TO RESULTS.
