Shadows in the Sun
Prologue, Shadows and Sunshine
What shadow, but the shadow of the day, can the night consume, with a world filled with hatred. Me
A stranger walks through the sunshine that is found at parting tree in an unknown forest for the first time in decades. Her skin looks soft and fragile, like silk that can never be torn.
I'm back.
She thought to herself. After years she had been cooped up in her room at Area 51. For decades she had cooperated with the American Military, making connections with the higher ups, fixing the mistakes that slipped through the cracks.
I'm finally back.
And now, they had let her go. As long as she kept contact every month, the special division she commanded in the Military would follow her every word.
After hundreds of long years…
The unknown strangers eyes glinted red in the light.
I will have my revenge…
Making connections, keeping tabs…
The world will once again answer to me…
The stranger took off, fast than the speed of light…
The world will once again know the name…
Heading towards a little town called Forks.
Felicity Annette Titania Elisabeth, Queen of the Vampires.
Forks, would never be the same again.
AN: Hello everyone, I have finally started my New Years Resolution, which is to finish ALL stories currently incomplete and that haven't been updated for years. To put things simply, I now hate this story. Well, that is to say, I hated it before I fixed it. I hated where it was going, how it was written, I hated it. I have now grown up and fixed my writing style, which was atrocious before, and am re-writing ANYTHING I consider not up to par.
I have an old High School Musical story that I am ashamed of, and will be editing it sometime this year. For a schedule of the stories I am fixing, I have a new entry in my profile, and am also cleaning that up too.
This story, previously known as Queen Of Vampires, is, as you can see, now called, Shadows in the Sun. I have re-written pieces already that just need to be typed, but with a different plot line than before I might have to scrap it all.
This story WILL be finished this year, I promise. I will finish it, even if I have to fail Grade 11... Hmmm, maybe not, but I WILL finish it. Believe it! I'm a bit iffy about Twilight right now, is anyone else deeply disappointed with the movies? But I will finish this story, and all my other stories. I might even start a new one. A Naruto one if anyone is interested.
So, with this long Authors Note out of the way, I shall now start piecing together the next chapter.
Happy Holidays, Happy Australia Day, and Good Luck to everyone stuck with the QLD floods that have now devastated 75% of Queensland, some of NSW and some of Victoria. I am part of the lucky percent that has avoided the devastation other than a food and petrol shortage. But everyone in Queensland has been affected, whether they know someone or whether they were in it themselves. For the 20 people killed, may you find peace in rest, and for those that were injured or lost their houses, it has been terrible, I understand and I'm overjoyed at the practicality that people have displayed in just getting everything fixed. QLD has just rallied together on Salvation Saturday, and I had tears of joy running down my eyes.
See you next time,
Tashie
I'm back…
