Its simple really you always get everything done so much faster when you set up a system, so you think 'hey do like always toss the objects from one to another.' Oh how you should've thought it through. It was going so smooth, Emily would throw you an item and you'd find its rightful spot, the bread, the meat, and the cans of soup. It was making your life easier. Then she said something to you, you turn and see the jar of con queso dip flying at you.
"Holy shit!" You jump backwards and cower. When you hear the jar hit the brand new granite counter tops and shatter you open your eyes and look at Emily.
"Hello that was glass! What the hell are you throwing glass at me for!?" You say.
"I…That was glass?" Emily laughs and you cant help but laugh too. "I thought it was plastic." That brings you close to hysterics, you nod and pull out your cell calling your brother.
"I need some of your…expertise." Emily stares at you, if only she knew he was the one cleaning your room every other week. He's at the back door in seconds and you let him in and stand back pulling Emily with you as he quickly starts on picking up every itty bitty piece of glass. When he gags you laugh and nod, the whole room smells of fake liquid cheese and it makes you ill. Emily finds a candle and lights it setting it in the middle of the table.
"We need to replace that jar… mom's going to kill me." Emily gulps. You smile and nod taking out your phone you snap a picture and you're off to your house for the car and to the store. When you return Emily's mom is home, and the kitchen is spotless. Emily slips you a note from your brother and slides the dip in fridge.
'you owe me for cleaning the fake cheese…'
You laugh and sit down to tell Emily's mom about teaching her daughter the difference between plastic and glass.
