Madison was on her Zbornak Dan's back. They were trying to escape from Lord Hater and were looking for Wander and Sylvia. Madison glanced behind her. The fire that was caused by the ship was getting stronger.
Madison: Wander! Sylvia!
Dan: Man, I hope they're alright.
They heard a scream.
Madison: SYLVIA! We're coming!
Dan ran toward the direction of the sound. They were at the bottom of a cliff. There with agonizing wounds was Sylvia!
Dan: Sylvia!
Madison hopped off and they raced over to aid their friend.
Sylvia: Dan? Maddie?
Dan: What happened to you? You look like you had fallen down the cliff!
Sylvia: I did.
Madison came over and started to clean her wounds.
Madison: Dan, you need to find Wander.
Sylvia: (grunts) The last place I saw him was when I fell.
Madison: Oh no! Was Lord Hater there?
Sylvia nods.
Madison: Dan, go get Wander. I need to stay down here.
Dan: I got a better idea.
Dan had Sylvia on his back with Madison walking by his side. Then, out of a smokey cloud came Lord Hater. Madison clung to Dan's neck as he ran with fire everywhere. They didn't go far. Fire was now surrounding them. They were trapped.
Madison: Dan, you need to get Sylvia out of here.
Dan: But Madison, you will die!
Madison: I'm not doing this for us.
Sylvia: (mutters) No...
Lord Hater comes through the fire, about to use his powers on them. Dan saw a gap in the flames, just big enough for Madison.
Dan: Madison, just run. Everything is going to be okay.
Lord Hater: There is no way any of you are going to escape now!
Madison: What did you do with Wander?
She said in a demanding voice.
Lord Hater: He is still alive. He thinks Sylvia is dead, and I'm going to make that true!
Madison: Over my dead body!
Madison picked up a club and flung herself at Lord Hater. Lord Hater took a flaming sword that he kept in his torture room. The two fought for five minutes, then Madison took a hard blow on the club that made her lose her balance. The club flew out of her hands and Lord Hater kicked it away.
Lord Hater: Now prepare to die!
Madison: We will end this... (She sprang to her feet and grabbed Lord Hater's robe) Together!
She dragged Lord Hater into the fire, and they burned.
Dan: Madison!
Sylvia could walk with Dan's support. They hugged each other and cried their eyes out. It started to rain. The rain had put the fire out. All that was left of Lord Hater was some bones, burnt robes, and one lightening bolt. They heard coughing. They went to find the source, and it was Madison. Her clothes were burnt and her fur was covered with ash. Dan hugged his friend and Sylvia came over. They did a group hug. The three friends got up. Madison looked at the remains of Lord Hater. She went over and picked up a lightening bolt.
Then a thought came to Sylvia.
Sylvia: We need to rescue Wander!
Madison hopped on Dan's back and they ran off in search of Wander.
