Dear Mom…
Today was a nightmare! You won't believe what happened today.
Well, there I was, going to get my engineers certificate, when all of a sudden, this weirdo Chancellor Cole butts in and cuts the ceremony short! Then, the Princess slips me a note asking me to come to her private quarters for something. So I get there and she asks me to take her to the Tower of Spirits. So I start to, but the tracks disappear! I crash and I get flung out of the train! There really should be seat belts on that thing…
So anyway I get out and Chancellor Cole floats down on this really weird train thingy. So he floats down, his hands glowing with purple and black magic, and this weird mutant- Byrne- comes and smacks Alfonzo! Then Cole and Byrne start blabbing about 'a secret plan' and 'the Princess' and 'a monster'…so I do the heroic thing and block the Princess, but Byrne knocks me aside like I'm a stuffed animal! I feel woozy, but I look up and see the Princess's body being carried away by Cole's goon. Then I pass out. I wake up in a bright room filled with beds and soldiers, and that's when I notice Alfonzo on the bed (plus a chair for his feet) next to mine. Then, the Princess's teacher- Teacher- comes in and talks to me about how the Princess is missing. Well, I tell him that the Princess was captured, and he just shoos away that notion.
So now here I am, writing this note to you. And, Dad was right- Hyrule is NOT what it's cracked up to be.
