All of time and space all that ever happened or ever would happen is at their fingertips and yet here they were at a park. And not even a cool alien playground on a strange world. Nope, they were at a playground in England, the original England on planet earth.
"Why here?" Amy asked the Doctor as he dashed off.
"Why not here? Everyone needs unwind sometime somewhere. Look! Brilliant these things!" the Doctor declared pointing out a merry-go-round.
"Yeah, it's just a toy."
"It's brilliant and fun," he disagreed giving it a push before jumping on.
She smiled at his gusto, "Yeah, it's just a child's toy though."
The Doctor jumped off as it slowed down and grabbed her hand pushing her onto the merry-go-round, "There is nothing wrong with children's toys Amy." He said happily heaving his weight and pushing the bars to send the merry-go-round spinning and making Amy shriek in laughter.
"See? It's fun!" He laughed as he hopped onto the ride once again.
"Okay, so maybe it is," Amy agreed with a grin, "but why here?"
"Because you've grown up and that is not allowed." The Doctor chided her shaking a finger disapprovingly, "and you know what else?"
"What?"
"You're it!" He reached out and tapped her shoulder before jumping off the merry-go-round and running.
"Not fair!" She called after him, a laugh in her voice as she chased after him.
Hours later found them in high spirits and out of breath laying on the grass watching as the sun starts to rise.
All of time and space all that ever happened or ever would happen is at their finger tips, But Amy thinks she'd rather be here than anywhere else right now.
