Quarrels

She saw him as an idiot, a blabbering fool who could never be good enough, especially next to him. He got in her way, annoyed her and destroyed her chances with him. Of course she yelled at him.

He saw him as an idiot, a loud-mouthed fool who consistently got himself into trouble. He was a pest, spouting out challenges and goals even though he had to know they were practically impossible. He was a bother, so why bother with him?

To her, he was annoying; to him, he was a pest. They were a dysfunctional team, the three of them, but somehow they made it, at least until their task was completed. Naruto knew what they thought of him; neither one tried to hide it. But he didn't mind the arguing. It meant someone was there to argue with.

Besides, he knew he was right.
