I know, you probably didn't expect anybody to write for Mrs. Johnson, or expected me to write Clyde/Haiku for Valentine's Day, but won't somebody please think of the poor Mrs. Johnson? As far as we know, she has nobody to spend the holiday with! So, who else would be able to help her than Clyde?
A good deal of characters, but lets act like he's the only one available.
So, let's move onto the story!
At the Royal Woods public park, Clyde McBride used binoculars to watch the Loud family having a picnic, but most importantly, he was looking at his crush, Lori Loud. She was currently trying to stop Luan from stealing a pie, presumably to throw it at some poor sap.
"Oh please, Lori, let me throw the pie at the ducks! They deserve to pie!" was what Clyde thought Luan was saying. "Get it?"
"Yes and no, Luan, this is a special pie for my literally stupid boyfriend!" was what Clyde thought Lori said. "And I'd literally rather date Clyde than have this pie be wasted on ducks!"
"Oh, if only I actually knew what was going on," Clyde thought, right before he put away his binoculars. "But anyway, there's no point to continue watching from the sidelines."
But just as he got ready to walk to the Loud picnic, Clyde noticed something in the distance; it was Mrs. Johnson, sitting alone at a bench and looking at the sky. So, the nerd walked to the lady, passing by a surprised Loud family.
"Did Clyde just completely ignored you right now?" Luan inquire.
"Hey, I'm not complaining," Lori replied.
And so, once the nerd reached the lonely woman, he immediately caught her attention. "Mrs. Johnson?"
"Oh hi Clyde," the teacher greeted, slightly surprised. "What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same question," Clyde answered. "Today's Valentine's Day, shouldn't you be hanging out with your lover or special someone or something?"
The redheaded woman flinched, but once she looked at the ground in contemplation, she decide to tell the boy the truth. "Listen, Clyde, I don't find that topic comfortable to discuss, but simply put, I... Simply don't have anybody to spend the holiday with," and then she looked back at the sky. "So, I'm just relaxing here. You can leave me if you want."
Then, Clyde grabbed a flower nearby and handed it to Mrs. Johnson as he sat next to her. "I think I'd rather join you," he said with a smile.
"Clyde, you're a sweetheart, but you honestly don't need to do this," the woman replied, forcing a smile.
"I know, but seeing as the only other thing I can do is futilessly try to impress the girl I have a crush on," then the boy paused and glanced at Lori, who was slap-fighting Luan with her face covered in pie, right before he turned back and finished, "I think this would be a better use of my time."
Flattered by the response, Mrs. Johnson hugged the boy and the two watched the clouds before the woman said, "Thanks, Clyde."
And as the duo continued to enjoy their time together, Lori and Luan watched them from afar. "Oh look, Lori, Clyde isn't chasing after you like a creep for once," Luan remarked, though her tone soon grew doubtful when she saw who he was with. "Though I can't help but feel sorry for poor Mrs. Johnson, she has to deal with him after having a bucket thrown at her head."
"You were at fault for the bucket thing," Lori stated, and the comedian didn't even deny it. "But still, seeing Clyde giving a lonely woman like Mrs. Johnson some company..."
Then she saw the pair engaging in a hug right before laughing in joy. She then got a smile and said, with complete honest:
"He's a good kid."
