Greetings, Digi-fans, and welcome to another anticipated(I wish)fan-fic written by me.
This fan-fic takes place at the beginning of "Trash day." Enjoy.
Matt walked through the forest, not stopping to look back,and in his current state of mind, it truly didn't matter what was in front of him, either. Gabumon finally spoke up, after following Matt for a long time. "Matt, wait up! My legs are tired, and I think the others are worried too. Let's head back,huh?" Matt, however, payed little attention to his Digimon partner's words, and kept walking. "Oh,come on, Matt. What's wrong?" Gabumon asked. "What's WRONG?" Matt shouted, turning around, staring angrily at Gabumon. He calmed down,however, when he saw Gabumon's hurt, frightened-looking face. "T.K. doesn't need me, that's what's wrong." Gabumon looked at Matt, confused. "Oh, I'll explain." Matt said, a small twinge of exasperation in his voice, as he explained what had happened in the tree (See "Playing Games").

"MATT!!!" T.K. shouted. By this time, T.K.'s throat was burning. He had cried for hours when Matt disappeared. And had been shouting his name ever since he stopped crying. "Will we ever find Matt?" T.K. asked Tai. "Of course we will!" Tai said, sounding gallant. Suddenly, 3 flying figures came down from the sky. Izzy, Sora and T.K. ran up to the 3 figures. It was Tentomon, Biyomon, and Patamon."Did you see anything?" Izzy asked. "Nope." Tentomon responded. Before T.K. even asked, Patamon sadly shook his head. "Biyo, tell me you found Matt!" Sora said, sounding nervous. Tai heard her."She's been so nervous ever since Matt left. I don't like it!"Tai thought. Just then, Tai's Digi-partner, Agumon, ran to him, along with Gatomon, Palmon, and Gomamon. "Well?" Tai asked. "Nada." Agumon said. "Zip!" Gomamon said. "Nothing." Palmon said"Zero." Gatomon said. "Great. We'll never find Matt! This place is way too big!" Mimi quickly turned at this. "Don't say that! We can't give up!" Kari than swung around. "Look!" She shouted, startling everyone. A horde of rock men were coming straight at them. "OH NO! Golemon! These stone warriors are said to be immortal and have quite a nasty temper!" Tento said, and the Digimon Digi-volved for battle. " Let's do it!" Tai shouted. "But.. Matt.." Sora began. "Later!" Tai said.
Matt had found a place to sit, and had explained to Gabumon what had happened. "I'm useless to them now…" Matt said, the sadness in his voice obvious. " I think I can help…" a strange, female voice spoke, as a shadow crept nearer to Matt and Gabumon.
