AN: First story in this fandom, if im in the mood one day, i'll write a happy story! Oh, sorry its a little depressing.
Disclaimer: I do not and will not own High School Musical or Disney. I only own my laptop on which i type this story.
She
had one wish.
Even when she was younger, she had she the same
wish.
It
wasn't for ponies.
It wasn't for to be a princess.
It
wasn't to be prom queen.
It
was for love.
It was for friendship.
She had always been the weird girl who stayed with her brother all the time.
She dragged her poor brother with her everywhere she went.
She had turned him from a normal boy who loved to play baseball to a guy who was obsessed with hats and dancing.
He claims that he always loved dancing but she knows that's a lie.
She had turned Ryan into her only friend but somewhere along the way she had turned Ryan into a servant and he always did what she said.
Why?
That's a reason she doesn't know. A reason she probably will never know.
She has no idea when she realized she was alone.
When Ryan started making new friends.
She had no idea when she realized people were laughing at her.
Over the top acting made her a laughing stock.
A talentless laughing stock.
She often wished to be downstairs with her brother and his friends, but she couldn't go down there.
They would laugh when they saw her flaws, when they saw the tears.
The tears of longing to belong.
She wished Ryan could come back and be her friend again not just her brother.
She wished that Troy did do that show just for her.
She wished Gabriella and Taylor would talk to her.
She wished for Chad to stop calling her names.
She even wished for Zeke, Kelsi, Martha and Jason to acknowledge her.
However, those were all empty wishes as she would always just sit at her bedroom window with tears in her eyes and be the girl on the outside looking in.
Sharpay Evans.
