Hello, everyone, and welcome to my first attempt at both poetry and Loveless fanfiction!
This is a collection of poems, one for each fighter pair, and thay have no real kind of order, so just read them all! wink
The first one is for fighter pair Breathless, from Midori to Ai.
Breathless is my name, it's true, but
I can't breathe when I'm with you.
And the sensation is still strange
The gasping, groping gut-wrenching pain
You walk ahead, your grace unmatched;
I'm forced to watch, my feelings latched
You turn, you smile, you say my name
I hang my head, ears droop in shame
The thoughts I have that I must keep
All to myself; so closed I can't sleep
Instead I lie awake all night
That's why now I'm such a sight:
Hair tousled, clothes unkempt, eyes blank
Sweat buildup: Hot, sticky, and rank.
You turn, your eyes concerned, "What's wrong?"
I feel as if I could burst out in song
As your lips graze mine-then it's gone.
Walking forward, neck stretched like a swan
You've forgotten already but for me it'll linger on.
Breathless is my name, it's true, and
Breathing seems trivial when I'm with you.
