"I wouldn't go in there if I were you." Seth stated coolly, not bothering to look up from the scrolls he was pouring over.
Huffing, Jono cast him a criticizing look, hand resting on door. "Oh, and why not?" He asked, sounding close to disregarding the priest.
"Pharaoh and the Thief were laughing for a good three hours straight up until a few moments ago, when it went extremely quiet; minus a couple gasps and heated curses," Seth explained in a very calm, controlled manner.
With a loud gulp Jono let his hand drop, smiling nervously and trying to fight the awkward blush rising up his neck. "Uhm..actually, I think I was needed in the...kitchen..."
He quickly exited, Seth making a noncommittal sound in response.
Soon afterwards, a low chuckle could be heard from behind the door, followed by a snicker, until another row of laughter was underway.
And through it all, Seth calmly reviewed his scriptures, never once losing his place.
