"I'll never lose to you, Sakura."

It was a hot, stuffy place, dimly lit, and stank of too many human bodies in one area. The blonde wrinkled her nose slightly at the smell as she took a sip of her drink. She glanced over to her friend, grinning. "Sure you're confident enough, Forehead-girl? Or do you want to back down now?"

The pinkette looked up from her cards, letting loose of the lip she had been biting. "I think I'll take my chances,"she replied, slapping down two cards of the growing pile. "Two three's."

A small smile played on Ino's lips as she studied the other's face. "If you say so." She leaned over, and slapped down a card. "One four." Sakura paused. "What's wrong, are you afraid, Forehead-girl?"

"Of course not." She lifted her head, staring at Ino with a defiant glare. "In fact, let's raise the stakes."

The blonde lifted one well-groomed eyebrow, genuine interest written all across her features. "Oh?"

"Not only is the loser, the loser, but they also have to do whatever the winner says for...oh, let's say a week," Sakura smirked over to her friend.

The blonde stared in shock for a moment, then smiled admiringly. "You have learned from Tsunade, you naughty girl. Gambling, aren't we? Let's just hope you're better at it then Hokage-sama is."

Sakura smiled back. "I'll take that as a yes. One five." She brushed back a strand of hair from her eyes. "Anything to say to that?"

"Nope,"Ino replied,"Two sixes." She slapped them down, then raised her gaze to meet Sakura's. "Anything to say to that?"

Sakura stared down at her. "Bullshit." Reaching out her arm, she flipped over the top two cards. A Queen, and a seven. "Shouldn't be so cocky, Ino-pig,"she chastised as she slapped down her last card. "I win."

She grinned at Ino's astonished face. She stood, pushing her chair back. "See you in the morning, seven, my place,"she muttered, placing a kiss on her cheek.

"So much for never losing to her."
