James Diamond sat on his blue couch in apartment 2J eating sushi. Sebastian had just left to go make more hot towels.

As he sat there in silence, James couldn't help but let his mind wander to Kendall, Carlos, and Logan.

He didn't mean to be mean to them. But in all honesty, they kind of deserved it. How could they just tell him that he had to give up his dream, while they got to live out theirs? How was that fair?

James shook his head and tried to think about something else. But it seemed that no matter what, anything he thought about somehow related to those three. Before this last stunt, they had been the best friends a guy could have. They had always been there for him. From the first time that they had met in Pee-wee hockey (James was being made fun of by some of the guys when Kendall jumped in and started throwing punches. It wasn't long before Carlos and Logan joined in.) to when his dad had first hit him (he'd been twelve and come home two hours after curfew. His dad had slapped him and called him a worthless piece of space. James took off towards Kendall's house where he knew Carlos and Logan would be, too. The three had let the brunette cry himself to sleep and never told anyone.) to the first time he had a solo (7th grade choir. James had been the youngest person to get a solo, and he was terrified. Kendall, Carlos, and Logan had sat in the front row and cheered when he finished.) to the big audition for Gustavo and so many other times. Now that he thought about it, James realized that they had given up so much for him. Kendall had given up his dream to play center for the Minnesota Wild. Logan gave up being a doctor. Carlos had given up…well, he wasn't sure what Carlos really wanted to be, but it was definitely out of the question if they were going to be pop stars.

James set down his plate and shook his head. What kind of a friend was he? His friends had given up their dreams-twice-and he wasn't willing to make sacrifices for them? He had to be the worst best friend in all of history.

"Sebastian?" he called.

"Yes, Mr. James?" the older man appeared at the bottom of the stairs.

"Can you please take me to Roque Records? I need to fix something." Sebastian smiled.

Just an idea I had floating around last night after Big Time Concert, because the scene where they sang the Turd Song and James showed up and finished was my absolute favourite thing EVER!

That, I needed something to do between posting chapters of Confluence. Haha.

I hoped you liked it! Be sure to check for the new chapter of Confluence (entitled "I like the way you…") on Tuesday!
