"Listen, I don't want to cause trouble, but trust me, I can. Just give. me what's. mine." the cloaked figure stepped forward, laying thick emphasis on her last words.
"Trouble? Ha! You've caused more than your fair share already. Clear out of here before I clear you." A growl could barely be heard over the sound of the crowded cantina.
"Oh you just wait till my master catches up wi-"
"And another thing! Where is this "master" of yours, eh? I'm beginning to think he's not gonna show!" The pirate was clearly exultant as the cloaked figure grew fidgety. He stood up
"Showing up with lightsabers doesn't make you a Jedi. You think you're all high and mighty, well-"
"Ah! There you are! This thug giving you trouble?"
He called loudly, and walked over to the pirate and cloaked figure.
He had been sitting in the corner, watching this transaction with interest. Something about the cloaked figure had struck him as familiar. Then the pirate said 'Jedi' and it all came rushing back. He now laid a hand on her shoulder. She felt tense beneath his touch, but she acted along.
"See? Now give me my due and I'll be on my way."
"Alright alright, I was going to anyway." He shoved the credits at her, and then walked off muttering. The figure shrugged his hand off her shoulder.
"You're welcome." he said pleasantly.
"Thanks but I had it covered." She turned around and faced her rescuer and then drew her breath in sharply.
"Saw? Saw Gerrera?"
"Afraid so."
Instead of being happy as Saw had expected, she stepped backward, and looked around furtively.
"What are you doing here?"
"It's an open cantina, isn't it?" He scoffed. "What's wrong, you look shaken up?" He glanced around the room. "Where is Skywalker anyway?"
Instead of answering him, the girl brushed past him and rushed out the door.
This was not the Ahsoka Tano that Saw knew. This was not the one who had come to his home planet Onderon and helped he and his friends restore peace. This was not the one who had taught him to disable a Destroyer, kill a clanker and- no, something was definitely wrong here.
He waited two seconds and then rushed after her.
