Set between the final scene on Platform One and the scene back on Earth in "The End of the World". xx
She stays silent.
Doesn't say a word.
Just goes over what has happened. Sat in the TARDIS. Replaying scenes in her head, as if it's a surreal blur and she just quite can't figure it all out. It's gone, but she can go back. It's gone, but she can go back to the past and he can take her there. He can take her back. Back to those days when all anybody would have to worry about seems like nothing when compared to everything out there.
Whole planets. Whole worlds. Gone.
All that culture. All that history.
And no-one even saw it go.
He's finished with the landing and yet he doesn't take her hand. Doesn't lead her out there. She needs to go, for herself. He's taken her to see what he fears most at night, and he didn't even realise. Her planet, gone. Like his. And he took her to see it.
She leaves the TARDIS.
Everything is back to normal. People, cars, concrete. She can't quite imagine it; Earth, empty. Empty of all this. Empty of life.
Empty of death.
Just rocks and dust.
