- You murdered him.
The temperature in the room seemed to drop down by a few degrees. Havoc completely forgot about the ciggarate he was about to light up. Furey had the urge to hide behind someone and Falman with Breda just froze, too shocked to do anything. The confident, slightly, angry way Riza spoke these words made them all fear for their lives. Roy, on the other hand, was surprisingly calm. Even though she pointed her words right at him.
- Oh yeah? What weapon would I presumably use for that? - He was cocky, relaxed even. His smile didn't fade for even a second.
- You used this gun and you killed him in this room.
Roy slightly furrowed his brows. He was starting to panic. The confidence in his eyes gave away its place to anger. Could she really have it all figured out by now? Was she that smart? He knew she was incredibly intelligent, he knew her better than anyone. But to think that she was smarter than him.
- So Colonel? Do you have anything in your defence?
He gritted his teeth. He had to think of something, anything that could save him. A single glance at his subordinates told him that they were completely useless. "Take a big breath Roy. You haven't lost yet" he tried to reassure himself.
- If you are so sure about this, then what was my motive?
- You pulled him out from the party to talk about your promotion. You were sure he would take the bribe. But he didn't. He was a good man, in love with this country so behaviour like this was treason to him. You realised then that he was about to report you to the higher-ups so you did the only thing you could think of. You shot him right in the head. It all adds up and you know it.
Damn it. He felt betrayed. How could Riza, of all people, do this to him. The others heard her. There was no way of stopping her now. He was about to lose. He let out a shaking breath.
- Ok Lieutenant. Do your thing.
The tension in the room was unbearable now. Riza quickly, but firmly, grabbed the envelope laying on top of the board. She opened it and smiled as all three cards inside matched her answers. She had won this round of cluedo.
- Damn it! I was sure I would win.
- Well, it seems like the Lieutenant is way too smart for us - Havoc and the rest finally relaxed.
- Yeah, none of us was even close to figuring it all out when she did it.
- I was close - Roy muttered.
- O c'mon chief, you might have got the weapon, but you had no idea where it happened nor who did, ironically. - Roy sat with his arms crossed like a child and kept mumbling something to himself.
- Well then, it was nice to stay late and play, but I'm exhausted, so see ya tomorrow - Breda left and soon Riza was alone with a still fuming Roy.
- Still can't get over the fact that I won?
- This is not fair! I've always won!
- You should be happy that someone finallly chalenged you.
- I'd rather win, thanks.
- Still, I think that a winner should get some kind of a prize. I was thinking dinner maybe? It could cheer up a sore looser like you.
- I'm not a sore looser!
- Oh really?
- So, - he quickly changed the subject, unable to accept that he was, in fact, a sore looser - a fancy restaurant or some fatty, Chinese food in your flat?
- You know me well sir.
- In that case I hope we'll get some good chopsticks this time.
- The last one's weren't bad, you just used too much force and broke them.
- So you think you are better at using them too?
- I don't think so, I know so sir.
- Oh, we'll see about that.
