Death the Kidd and Maka were walking to their homes after another long and boring meister meeting. Kidd saw an unsymmetrical cat and started freaking out and having a symmetry rant on the ground.
"How did you get your obsession with symmetry?" asked Maka. Kidd then had a flashback all the way back to his childhood.
~~Death the Kidd's Flashback~~
I have been around messes my whole life. My dad literally has a room full of collected junk. I had many friends growing up so I have obviously seen some of the richest and some of the poorest houses in Death City. One of my friends lived in a very modest neighborhood but he had terrible rodent and insect problems in his house. Everywhere I stepped it seemed like there were always roaches and rats.
That was only a mild issue compared to the one that gave me my disorder. One day I decided to go to my friend's house. He lived in a very poor neighborhood and at the worst house on the block. At his house he had many animal including ten dogs, eight cats, four birds, and a turtle. His family never cleaned up after their animals so there was poop everywhere. The thing that got on my last nerve was taking a shower. I was casually taking a shower at his house when suddenly I heard the roof creak and at least two hundred thousand roaches fell on me and all in the shower.
I didn't cry but instead I attacked everything in sight. My friend ran in the bathroom as soon as he heard the entire ruckus. He walked into a destroyed bathroom with thousands of dead roaches and me sitting on the ground rocking myself back and forth and staring at a painting
"What's wrong?" my friend asked. I turned my head to look up at him and then I passed out.
I ended up in the hospital sitting in a room with my dad. My dad greeted me with the normal "I was so worried about you." The doctor then walked in about five minutes later.
"We can't really figure out what made you pass out but we think it was caused by some kind of stress," the doctor told me. I knew what it was because it was still bothering me at the moment.
I let out a calming sigh and then I whispered to myself, "The painting in the bathroom was unsymmetrical." A few days later the doctor diagnosed me with OCD. Ever since then symmetry means everything to me.
~~End of Flashback~~
Maka was of course asleep due to the boring flashback so Kidd woke her up. They then continued walking home while Maka told Kidd her opinion on what she heard of Kidd's flashback.
