The World Knows
"Alice? What's happening?" I asked Alice once I saw her filmed eyes. Edward was at my side in an instant. "The Volturi want to let the world know about vampires." "But what about the human blood thing?" "All vampires switched to vegetarians." All the Cullen's where in the room now with the same dumb-stuck expression as me. "When?" Was all Esme could say. "In about a week." Alice and Edward answered together. "Everyone, I think it's time to give Bella the one thing she really wants. There isn't enough time and when everyone knows I'm sure Charlie will keep Bella from us." "He's right Bella; we need to change you now." Rosalie surprisingly said. Then Edward faced me and said, "Bella, I will always love you." And with that his lips reached my neck and his teeth pierced my skin. With that all I felt was fire and the screaming began.
When I woke up, everything was so clear. I gazed around in wonder and realized Edward was holding my hand. A few minutes later Alice walked in along with Rosalie with a huge mirror, when I looked in the mirror I was shocked. I still looked like me, except with pale skin and crimson eyes. I was stunned; I touched my face, smooth as silk. "Wow." Was all I could say, "You like?" Rosalie asked. "Yeah." Okay Bella you're probably thirsty so LET'S HUNT! Alice sang.
50 minutes later.
"Wow that was fun." I said as I opened the front door, I stopped talking when I walked in on a very serious Carlisle. "What's wrong?" "Bella, do you remember what happened before your transformation?" I thought back before all the pain. "Oh yeah how many more days do we have?" "One." He answered sadly. "Oh, what time is it?" "6:55a.m." I'm nervous." "Bella honey, we all are."
"I think I should start getting ready, it's going to be a long day." Without looking back I ran upstairs to pick out my outfit.
7:00a.m
My breathing accelerated as we pulled up to Forks High School. It truly was going to be a long day. "Bella? Is that you?" A surprised Jessica said. "Yeah. Hey, do you know what that important news announcement is about?" "No, but it's probably something boring like healthy eating." I hear the Bell ring and Jess whispers a quick see you later to me and ran to the auditorium.
THE AUDITORIUM
"Good morning students. Today's announcement will most likely be shocking to you all. We will be introducing a new species to the world." And with that the big screen came to life and the president began to speak. "Good morning everyone, I am proud to announce a new species that has walk the Earth in secrecy, and to tell us about it is Aro Volturi." "Thank you Mr. President, as you have all been told I am Aro Volturi. The species I am about to reveal to you may seem unrealistic and often appears in fictitious movies and literature. The newest addition to the list of species is the vampire." Shocked gasps came from almost everyone in the room. And on the screen a person raised his hand and asked, "So are you telling us that vampires are real?" "Yes. They are." Another person raised his hand and asked, "What do vampires look like?" "Vampires have hard cold skin, have black eyes when thirsty and gold when they are full, inhumane beauty, super speed, strength, sparkle in the sun like diamonds and some others are created with extra abilities." Having heard enough the principle turned off the screen and we were told to return to class, the whole time people were staring at all the Cullen's.
