To England!
Caroline couldn't bare the thought of graduation.
It might be the last time she saw her friends. Those that were human anyway.
She dreamed of travailing. Klaus had opened her eyes when he saved her.
Gave her a reason to live.
There was a dance held at the school. Caroline couldn't bare the thought of going, alone. But knew she needed to.
To say goodbye.
"Omg! I can't believe we actually made it through high school!" Elena gripped Caroline in a long hug.
"Elena there's something I need to tell you…"
Matt came up behind Caroline and put his hands over her eyes. "Hey Matt!" she turned around and hugged him a bit too long, he thought, but he carried on with it anyway.
"What is it that you wanted to tell me Care?" Elena asked after she finally released Matt.
"Come this way." She held their hand in hers and lead them into an empty hallway.
"I'm leaving. Tomorrow. For good." Matt and Elena looked at her confused.
"Where are you going?" Elena replied. Shocked at what her friend was saying.
"Everywhere." Caroline spoke this with relief in her eyes.
"But… why?" Caroline and Elena were the only people Matt had left, he wasn't that close to Bonnie. But even she was gone. He didn't want Caroline to leave him too.
"I can't just sit around here like you guys. People would start to notice that I'm not aging." She knew this excuse wasn't enough for her friends.
"I'm sick of it here!" Tears started flowing down her cheeks. She hugged them both once more, whispering, "I love you guys." Then soon rushed off.
She got on the airport for her first destination.
There he was, standing in the terminal wearing a leather jacket with blue denim jeans. Grinning at the sight of this beautiful blonde bombshell in front of him.
She ran towards him; in human speed so no-one was suspicious. and leapt into his arms. He tightly squeezed the small but strong body while smelling her perfume.
He pulled her away and kissed her gently, then stared at her, smirking.
"To England?" Klaus asked, releasing her from his grip.
"To England!" Caroline smiled as he lead her down the terminal and onto the plane, hand in hand, beaming at each other.
