Authors Note:

After a short hiatus -that, and the lack of muse- I've decided to give writing fanfiction another shot! I am hoping that I don't end up disappointing myself, and in result deleting all of my work. Something I have a terrible habit of doing, and I'm trying to break it.

And to end off this note tag, I would like to say that I normally don't write prologues, since I think it's just so much better into going straight into the story, But I figured why not? Not really a logical explanation as to why I'm writing one now, but whatever. Okay, I'll shut up and move onto the story.

Enjoy!

Terra ran her hands under the cold water, and splashed it against her face. It couldn't be real, could it? Seeing Beast Boy again had triggered these memories. Memories she had buried deep down in her mind, wanting to forget. Wanting to pretend like they had never happened...

But they did happen, Terra. Slades voice rang through the girls bathroom. She panicked. Slade. She knew that voice anywhere, it haunted her in her sleep. Waking her up in the middle of the night with unrealistic visions of what she had done in the past. As if he was trying to force her to remember.

"Go away!" She shouted. She had already decided to start anew. To start a new life without her powers, without the Titans, and most importantly without Beast Boy: the love of her life.

"I can't do that, Terra." Slades voice echoed in the room. She was lucky she was the only person in the restroom, otherwise she would have a lot of explaining to do. "You see, we have some unfinished business to attend to" Terra turned back around, facing the mirror. His silhouette could be seen on glass mirros above the sinks. Her eyes widen, tears were threatening to fall against her face, but she wouldn't allow them. But she wasn't that strong. She couldn't suppress her emotions like Raven could, so she allowed them to fall freely.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?" She yelled, her fist colliding against one of the mirrors, glass shattering around her. She was panting heavily, she just wanted him to go away.

"I told you, we have unfinished business to attend too." He repeated, before disappearing, leaving the blonde alone in the bathroom yet again. The bell rang, indicating that class was getting ready to start. Terra regained herself, and walked out of the bathroom.

This fic takes place during and after the episode of "Things Change" I've always wondered what happened after that episode, considering they left it off at a cliff-hanger. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. I always thought that she would go after Slade, and in the process Slade tries to bring her back as his Apprentice.

What do you think is going to happen to Terra?
