OKay, so this story will actually be updated often; writing drabbles is not very time consuming, and I have a lot of time as I try to sleep. Damn sleeping disorder. Anyway, I hope you like it(:
"In talking, shyness and timidity distort the very meaning of my words. I don't pretend to know anybody well. People are like shadows to me as I am like a shadow."
- Gwen John
Her name was Aria Nichol.
She lived her life in silence, always hidden in the background, always wondering who she was, who her mother was.
Then, her day finally came. The war was over and the sun shined for what seemed to be the first time in a long time. She sat in silence listening to the others talk among themselves at the table, staying quiet as always when it happened; out of nowhere the symbol appeared right above her head.
For once, everyone else fell silent – They had always secretly wondered, but never truly known – as she spoke;
"Nyx."
