Travelling with the Doctor is never easy, but to be a companion with the latest regeneration was nothing short of infuriating at times. The first time Rosh found himself stuck on the sidelines was in the 16th century. I mean, meeting Will Shakespeare, does it get more awesome than that? Turns out when he flirts incessantly with your crush, it could go a lot better. Granted she's your secret crush, but still... and then there was that who angsty phas while the Doctor was human.
Rosh had just finished writing his inner venting session in his journal when Jack dropped down next to him on the couch they had convinced the Doctor to put in the TARDIS.
"What's up, lover boy?" He asked with a smirk.
"What are you talking about?" Rosh responded easily in his soft Australian accent.
Jack raised an eyebrow, "I'm talking about you and Miss Jones over there. C'mon, you can't expect us not to notice! It's all Dr. Sexy and I talk about."
"Really?"
"Well no, but a gentleman never reveals all his secrets."
"They don't kiss and tell either," Rosh said with a laugh, as he left Jack looking a little dumbstruck.
The TARDIS had just landed and Rosh was ready to stretch his legs. "Hey, Doc, do we have anything planned for this trip?"
"Nope. Go have fun, kiddo." The Doctor said with a smile, opening the door.
When Rosh saw where they were, he smiled. "Hey, Martha, wanna go on a Ferris wheel ride?"
"Sure," she replied a little wearily, since she still hadn't seen the city yet.
"OK, let's go," he said, pulling her toward the Eye.
Once they were safely in one of the baskets and going up, Rosh went for it. "Martha, um..."
When he couldn't find the words to say, he leaned in for a kiss instead. At first he was worried that she would pull away, which would make the rest of the ride incredibly awkward. However, she pulled herself closer and deepened the kiss.
After Rosh broke away, he looked at her and smiled. She smiled back, "After all this time? I thought you'd given up."
"Always and never," he replied, pulling her into another deep kiss.
