Disclaimer: I do not own Cardcaptor Sakura, it belongs to whomever made it. This is an alternate reality fic, taking place after Meilin's Story in the series, following the manga names and anime storyline. Sakura has not yet caught The Freeze, The Create, The Erase and The Change.
The Third Cardcaptor.
It was a beautiful spring day, the kind of day when you wanted to be free and soar like a bird in the cool air. Unfortunately, for the 4th grade class at Tomoeda Elementary, luck is hard.
"Sigh…I wish we could go out there, Tomoyo-chan." Sakura sighed, as Tomoyo ironically bore a sweatdrop in contrast to Sakura's dreamy face.
"Uh….Sakura? Mr. Terada just called your name five times..." Tomoyo whispered to her, as Sakura bashfully greeted Mr. Terada's angry face.
"Thank you, Sakura. Now class, we have a new student entering our class today." The middle-aged man explained, as he opened the door.
"Her name is Rose R. Houjin"
A girl who bore a striking resemblance to Tomoyo entered the room, just as Li had done when he first arrived.
Long jet-black hair flowed down to her back, emerald eyes sparkled in a milky complexion. She was slender, and looked very attractive.
"Wow! She's CUTE!"
"Sit here!"
"No sit here!"
And similar responses echoed throughout the room, as the helpless Mr. Terada directed the newcomer to a seat.
Suddenly, Li and Sakura acted startled, as if jolted by an invisible bolt.
"Sakura-chan! Daijobou?" Tomoyo asked in a concerned way.
"Hai Tomoyo...I just felt..."
"A clow card..." Li told himself, as if finishing Sakura's message telepathically.
"But it's much stronger than a clow card..." Li told himself.
"Li? Daijobou?" Yamazuki asked, as Li nodded.
As Rose sat down, both cardcaptors sensed something wrong about her.
"And she has a weird feeling coming from her." Sakura finished saying, ending her description of the new 'Rose' girl.
"Are you sure it's not just jealousy?" Kero asked teasingly, as Sakura frowned in disapproval.
"I'm serious, Kero! This girl could be something big, just like the mirror card!" Sakura insisted, as Kero failed in one of his miscellaneous video games.
"Well, what was this 'strange feeling' that you felt?" the stuffed animal asked, slightly annoyed.
"Like a clow card, except stronger-sorta like what I feel when I go near Li..." She began to explain, as Kero got hit by the same invisible bolt.
"It can't be..." Kero trailed off hypnotically, as Sakura rushed over to the window in her pyjamas, and stared out at the dark sky.
"WOW!!!!!!" Sakura screamed in ecstasy.
"What is it Sakura?!" Kero questioned, matching emotions.
"Yuki! He's out there waiting for me!!" Sakura shouted, delighted and started running all over the room in SD form. Kero decided to see this for himself, and to his surprise-Yuki WAS standing there!
"I've gotta get down there!!" Sakura screamed, now in a world of her own-as she threw on a coat and rushed outside.
"Yuki! Yuki!" The ecstatic brown-haired girl screamed in delight, rushing with open arms to the junior high individual.
Butu behind his glasses, warm blue eyes turned stone grey and a hand raised to the oncoming girl.
"SAKURA!!!!!"
Before Sakura knew it, a blur of wind had literally swept her off the ground, and Li was on top of her, dressed in his street clothes.
"Li? Nani?! What are you doing here?!" She screamed in irritated fury, about to shove Syaoran off before she spoted his hand, embedded with spikes.
"A clow card..." Li told her weakly, as theyb oth faced the assailant 'Yuki.'
"Hm." It said, before it vanished in a blur of light.
"What the—" Sakura asked, holding Syaoran's bloody hand.
"Sakura!" A concerned voice shouted, as Tomoyo came running to her, Kero at her side.
"Oh no, I knew it was her!" Kero scolded himself, as all three looked at him.
"Who?" Sakura asked, slightly apprehensive.
"Who did this?" She asked.
"Get Li inside, and I'll tell you about the third cardcaptor."
