"Red! Wait up!" Green called out to Red as he was leaving Viridian City again. Red turned around to look at Green. He had decided it was time to leave and head back to Mt. Silver, but Green had something to say about this.

"Why are you going back so soon? You've only been here for like a three months!" Green complained to his silent friend. He was actually hoping that he would stay longer. He didn't want him to leave like just like three years ago…

"I figured it was time to leave," Red shrugged. In all truth, he didn't want to leave, though he was beginning to miss the cold mountain scenery. Red and Green had grown even closer since he had come down from the mountain. Green was busy, being a gym leader and all, but he always made time for Red.

"You can't mean that," Green said, this time sadness playing upon his face. He had done so much to keep him here and now he was just going to leave!

"I do," Red answered and had turned from him. Green was going to panic. There had to be something to keep him here.

Then, Green did what he did three months ago. He unexpectedly hugged Red from behind, whispering to him in his ears, "Please, don't go."

Red, once again was not expecting Green to do something like this. It just wasn't like him. He turned around in his arms, directly facing Green.

"Give me a reason why," Red ordered. Green wanted facepalm, but he thought of something. Red didn't try to get out of his grasp…

"This is the best reason I could give you to stay," Green said while gathering up some courage.

"Which i-"

Red was cut off by Green's lips gently pressing onto his. Green's eyes were closed as he was doing this, but since Red was caught off guard, he was able to see Green's face blushing. Then, he decided to close his eyes as well and kiss the boy back.

When they pulled away, both had a blush on their cheeks, Green's darker then Red's.

"Is that a good enough reason for you?" Green asked a bit shyly. He was hoping that this would make him stay.

Red put his hand to his lips, remembering the seconds ago when Green's had been there. He looked up to Green and he was wearing a smile.

"Promise to do that some more and I'll never leave," He said in his quiet voice. Green's face lit up to those words, though he did have to admit it was odd hearing Red saying he wanted to kiss some more.

With a sweet smile, Green answered, "Of course, Red. I promise that there will be much more where that came from."

Red walked up to him and latched himself onto Green, holding onto him tightly.

"I was getting tired of being alone…but can we go back just to visit the mountain?" Red asked sweetly.

"Of course, anything if you'll come back down with me," Green said. Red smirked and nodded, letting him know that he was serious.

Red gave Green a quick peck on his cheek before they headed to the mountains. This would be the last time Red would ever go back to Mt. Silver. Because now, he had something, or in this case someone, to be with in the world outside his mountain.
