"But mom! I don't even know him! I yelled after my mother. I sank into my bean bag and thought. "We have nothing in common, he's a total nerd, I'm smart funny and popular! This could seriously hurt my reputation" I said to myself as I rolled over to turn on my computer. "I Wonder what It's gonna be like"
"DING DONG! The door bell rings and the awkwardness begins" I thought as I walked to the front door of Daniels house. He greets me with an awkward half smile and a "hi". I linger in his living room for a bit then settle in a chair
beside a strange looking elephant poster and start reading my magazine. "soooo do you play any video games?" "No I don't do video games." I mumbled. "Well you have never played Legend of Zelda then have you?" He said as he pulled me into a room with Mario wallpaper and a HUGE flat screen with various game controllers and systems. "I really don't want to learn about this stuff its ok really. I don't need to know" I really wanted to get out of there. "Just watch me then I will let you play he said. See this is Link and those are called rupees and that is called a..." "What was that" I said nervously "I heard something I sounded like a cracking noise." Then, the TV screen cracked.
"Omigod omigod what do we do!" I yelled "your mom is going to kill us!" "Calm down, let's just go upstairs and tell my mom what happened" he said. Then the TV fell forwards, and everything went black.
A/N: I'm really sorry about how short it is I haven't ever really written that much before so this is new to me. It's kind of an intro more than a chapter.
