Ch 1: prologue.
Pain….
It was all that he could feel.
Not even the ground beneath his feet was felt.
But he did not care…
He had saved the one's he loved and because of that…
He was content.
He remembered how it all happened only five hours earlier…
"Sonic!"
Said hedgehog was dozing underneath a tree when he heard his young adopted brothers voice.
he muttered under his breath about how he need's a break from being a hero when tail's next word's snap him awake.
"sonic..huff...huff... amy's gone!
he was instantly up with a look of pure concern and worry on his face.
"what!" yelled sonic.
"she was taken when her and cream forced me to go shopping with them. one moment she was standing there, fine and well, when suddanly egg-for-brains showed up and snatched her!" tail's explaned.
needless to say sonic was pissed.
"where did they go!" roared sonic.
tail's flinched and then, in a terrified voice, " th-e-ey w-w-w-ent n-n-ort."
sonic then ran as fast as mobianly possible, northbound, a fire of pure, rage and fear in his eye's
'I've never seen sonic so ANGRY! I wonder what's wrong?' thought tail's as he watched his hero and best friend, though he did not know it than, ran for amy one last time.
'damn him!' thought sonic as he ran at the speed of sound.
Then up ahead he saw his destination, Eggman's new Artic base, situated at the base of a large cliff.
He ran forward, annihilating any biotic being in his path.
When he finally reached the control room, what it contained shocked him.
There in a large device with two chairs between a multiple floating cube's, sat Eggman, holding a pistol to Amy's head.
"Now now, wouldn't want any accident's now would we." he calmly said while pushing the weapon closer to her temple.
"Eggman! What the hell are doing!"
Eggman laughed like he was insane. he most likly was.
"Oh it is quiet simple Sonic. just having chat with Miss Rose here."
"hand her over and I might just let you live." said Sonic with fury in his eye's.
"Oh i'm sorry but first you must do something for me first"
"What do you want then?"
"just sit right there." he said, pointing to the other sit on the other side.
"And just what are you going to do?"
"Oh, let's just say that, when we are done. your feel like a whole new person" he stated with a grin.
Sonic thought this over in his head for several second's before anwsering.
"fine just let Amy go." he said while siting down in the machine.
The rest was a mute and confusing blur as he remebered almost nothing of what happened next.
He would have chuckled if he could breath.
Then he saw a figure coming though the smoke. he yelled, thinking it was knukles, but as it got closer he saw it was his metallic copy: metal sonic.
'fucking shit!"
He tried to move but than MS knelt near sonic and spoke.
"Was the mind-transfer complete master Robotnik?"
This stunned sonic. Mind-transfer? was that what Eggman was trying to do?
Then he saw MS scan him.
"Warning, critical damage to entire right side of creator's new host body. replacement's required for master's survival."
MS picked up the now unconscious Sonic and carried him to the nearest med-camp.
