- Prologue-
Four cats clustered around the softly glowing pool, watching as the lives of many cats unfolded before them. At moments, they would point out things to do that made things better or worse for the animals they viewed. Claws glinted; eyes gleamed; fur ruffled against the chill wind. A fifth she-cat joined the others, crying in distress, "What about the Lost Ones? Have you gotten to them yet?"
"Relax, Star," purred a blue-gray she-cat with dark blue eyes that looked like the sea before a storm. "We'll take care of it."
"I should hope so, but you must do your part," a fiery ginger tom answered.
The blue-gray she-cat hissed. "You must do the same, and hold your tongue while you do it!"
The light brown she-cat in the group waved her tail. "As always, my female companion is right. You always have been quick to speak."
"Leave him be," chided the dove gray tom. "He speaks only the truth, though he knew it would start a fight." The brown she-cat sniffed at his words, refusing to yield that point to him.
The white-and-gold she-cat, Star, sighed in exasperation. "I should have gotten Thunder, River, Wind, and Shadow to deal with these cats-"
"But only some believe in them," interrupted the first she-cat calmly. "All believe in us."
"I suppose," murmured Star. "In that case, my friends, would you do me the honor of sending me down to the proper time and place?"
All four conceded and Star was gone in a moment.
"I hope she is well," fretted the gray tom.
"She will do fine," the blue-gray she-cat reassured. "Star always knows what she is doing."
Tada! Here it is, the fanfic that you've all been waiting for…LOST. I've already posted it on the official Warriors forums and I have up to Chapter 8 written (so I can make you review to get more updates. Yay!) Anyway, a link to the actual story (which is much prettier on the forums) will probably be on my profile if I remember to update it.
