Author's Note: I've just realized that this is probably out of character for the Doctor. Oh well, hope you enjoy anyway.

"Are you ready?"

A nod, and the Doctor enters him in one smooth movement and immediately begins a rhythm of gentle, shallow thrusts. Jack squeezes his eyes closed against the pleasure he doesn't deserve but can't help wanting. He knows the Time Lord wants to help him, but doesn't he realize what Jack is thinking now?

"I won't forget Ianto," he says through gritted teeth, even as a whimper of pleasure worms itself in between the words. "Even you can't replace him."

"I know that, Jack," the Doctor murmurs against his neck. "I just want to make you feel better."

He can't deny that, physically at least, it's working. The immortal tries to let everything go, focus on the sensations, but he can't. He can only think about the last time Ianto touched him like this, the Welshman's eyes as he lay dying, the I love you that went unanswered because Jack was too much of a coward.

But the Doctor is persistent. He keeps moving, and Jack's body reacts without his mind's help.

He comes crying Ianto's name.
